It actually is a direct reference when a certain female character mentions Aquaman defeating " ahem " an saving " place " but I do agree they should watch them both and WW just be careful of the order it is watched in, and also his weapon wont make sense if they watch Aquaman first since its different, but ok.

You are right but it was recommended by many people that you can see Aquaman before ZS justice league since doesn't affect the plot and you will know the character better. After the failure of Whedon's version, Aquaman is made in a stand-alone style. There is only one mention of the justice league in the movie and it wasn't direct. Anyways, I thought could help invest in the character.

Actually Aquaman takes place after Zack Snyder's Justice League mate :) So next its Wonder Woman and then ZS justice League.

My son could never forgive them for having Batman killing in this, the ''general'' rule being that he doesn't. A Batman quote from the comics: “I swore never to take a life, even in the service of justice.” this isn't my favorite either, but I actually don't mind Affleck as Bruce. Controversial maybe, but I don't. Aquaman isn't my favorite movie either, but Zack Synder's Justice league is longer, be prepared Joy :) but 1 million per cent better to watch than the theatrical version, it makes more sense and better quality visually, imo and tells others in it, stories better - the theatrical is too corny in some places.

I saw it in the theater when it came out and that version was not very good. But I do remember when Wonder Woman showed up for the big fight and the whole crowd went crazy, much like your reaction. The Ultimate Edition definitely filled in some gaps and developed things so it made more sense and watchable.

Batman has killed in the comics he just don't do it much but also this version is alot older and has been through alot

Perry bringing up 1938 to Clark was actually the first year superman was created. So that was basically an Easter egg 😁
