wow.. those names give me chills.. ughh. i don't know exactly how it started.. the needle fear.. to be honest, i fear more of the blood extraction operation. rather than a simple flu shoot. with you is open water? that's scary too.. especially if the water is deep.

The fear of leaving the house Marian mentioned is Agoraphobia. It's hard to understand why some people have certain fears that others don't. But its extremeness depends on the person. It sounds like maybe Marian has Trypanophobia, fear of needles, but mild so it's simply an uncomfortable moment. I have Thalassophobia, so you will never, ever find me on any kind of boat on open water. Just thinking about being an open ocean makes me shiver.
