Guz & Hau, early wip, panel progress
🕑 Added 2025-01-06 20:44:16 +0000 UTCHELLO EVERYONE I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF SETTING UP MY NEW PC
IT IS
A LOT
THERE'S SO MUCH TO REINSTALL
SO I DIDN'T GET TO START WORK TODAY AS INTENDED
BUT I STILL HAVE PANEL-WORK TO SHARE FROM LAST WEEK
Sometimes I forget to take photos for references for specific panels or the shot is too complicated to set up on my own - Then I use posemy.art , a handy 3D doll-posing app, free to use in your browser. It has a limited amount of 3D Models to use (as you can see the base male model is MUSCULAR AS HELL), but it's good enough to get a rough reference I can work with. Second slide is my initial thumb, last slide how my panel currently looks, as I still keep the thumb underneath and draw over it. As the 3D models aren't accurate to the proportions of the characters, I never trace over them but use them as a lose reference.

I KNOW JJKGFFG It's WAY too much π But it's the only free-to-use male model the app has available jgfkfgdjkgf

Like mentioned in the description, I use the free-to-use modesl of posemy.art! It's quite handy if you need to quickly throw something together and take a screenshot of it for reference! https://posemy.art/

What do you use to get the 3D models? I'm trying to get more confident in drawing people, but I usually end up tracing over the actual body, then adding their details like hair and clothes

I'm always impressed by an artist's way of bringing their art to life. How you're able to take such a simplistic sketch, and turn it into characters is awe-inspiring!
