This may sound a little silly, but these comics give me something short-term to look forward to - to get excited about. It's been a rough two weeks. Running to govt offices, (final gender marker changed, thank God), getting the bureaucratic wheels turning for my surgery. Panic, dread, and exhaustion amongst all of my loved ones. But this story puts me at ease, keeps me excited about the future, and it's always worth the wait. (God, Casper's such an emotional klutz that even Clay is using exclamation points. Lol).

- OMG, Clay's legs! - Casper has such unique gestures - particular to him. Other people may throw their arms up in the air, or make quotations with their hands, or bury their face in their palm, but Casper has a way of doing it that's just so very...Casper. I can't put my finger on it, but every single character, even the background extras, has their own body language, and I love it.

Casper is trying to miss the point so damn hard because he is comfortable (sorta) with hating Junip. It's easy, and he doesn't need to self-reflect. But now that Clay is rubbing his nose into it, he's realizing that he's been a dick to Junip and it bothers him

“Kindness is not a limited resource” is a very good quote, I try to be good and do good wherever I can, be that help siblings with hrt, a granny off the bus or just holding someone’s box while they wrangle their baby on the train, everyone deserves kindness and even if you can’t do a good deed a day the occasional act of kindness goes a far way
