I hear you! And thank you so much for being the first patron! I'm indeed working on v0.03a, which includes an option at the beginning of the game to play a choice between Normal Mode (with puzzles and gated scenes) and Story Mode (no puzzles and gated scenes).

Great start to the VN; I'd much prefer the choice to skip and see the bonus content but I'd like to keep the option of the puzzles too. I'm just no good at this kind of mental gymnastics.
