I don't have facebook or mainstream social media, so she was very shocked to see my very obese self. We went for a coffee and... Well, long story short, I ended up telling her about my fetish(es) and whatnot. She thinks I am some kind of weird degenerate. What do you think? Is our kink something really weird and gross to be ashamed of? The other people at the cafè certainly seemed to share her opinion.

I don't know what to think, though. I think it is normal from a biological and primitively sociological point of view, like, the fatter the better, as it shows power and responds to the natural impulse to consume more... On the other hand, it turns me on knowing that the average person finds me disgustingly fat and I love to act more gluttonous just to piss them off.
It's more like somewhere in between your poll options. Is it normal? Well, no, not really. But everyone has tastes and preferences that deviate from the norm.
