Was in the office a couple days ago testing something for my next video, wanted to record it for you since I figured I wouldn't get to really demo it in the video properly, and then decided to ramble on about videos and collecting and mess around with a couple other things.
Also spent 40 minutes trying to compose thoughts about some of the comments I got from randos (none of you folks) on the last video, and then decided it was just pointless grousing; as usual, 99.5% of my feedback is positive and I was being whiny. Almost everyone is nice to me and I was just letting the rare hater get me down.

Brown stuff on the mug looks like decades old thermally sensitive paint. Would probably have been black or white when cold, and would have gone transparent when warm.

Maybe it is a dumb idea and I haven’t yet watched the whole video, but maybe the midi interface is just there to program a show via a midi track on a computer? So you can pre plan some parts and get the timing right without doing it manually on the device?
