As someone who's in a similar position with my day job and had to find a way to step away, I'm glad to hear you're doing this. I was sick of breaking myself on the proverbial wheel, and I'm so glad you're able to get out, too.

I feel this so much. You got this.

Tom Buck

While I’m sorry to hear about the stress, I’m so excited for you! I think this’ll be the start of a really awesome chapter and you’re definitely a huge inspiration in the creative world.

Soleil

Hope you made it! I'm a recent patron but I'm so glad I became a patron when I did to help support your independence.

GutBomb

Happy liberation day!

Livvv

Happy (hopefully) job quitting day! Also, having once quit a job that was killing me, consider taking a week or two to just...do nothing. Your brain probably needs it.

william fordon

Vicariously live the dream for the rest of us. I'm bumping you up a bit on my patreon monies.

Julien Goodwin

Joining the crowd bumping up a level.

Not once did I intend for my support to be exclusively used for material. Supporting *you* supports the channel, Gravis.

Cal

You deserve to take your life back. You're gonna crush it.

travis webb

YOU GOT THIS!

Congratulations, Gravis!

Nick R

I, and obviously a lot of other people, totally support you. Bumped from $5 to $20/mo with no hesitation, and if I could do more I would. You deserve it.

Tom Bossier

Proud of you for taking the leap. We've got you. 💜

Don’t sweat it mate. No one is the slightest bit concerned if your use Patreon revenue to stay alive! We love your work however it comes. Go forth and be happy. As you said, don’t make any more content - just enjoy making the content you already do and you’ll have a good life.

Gecko089

Go for it. If you need a crappy job at some later time in your life again, then you will find one. Maybe even a better one doing something with media. Getting experience in creating content is not slacking off and is a skill that you can market (if needed at some point).

Richard Thompson

Just bumped my monthly... you need to do this 100% of the time.

Samuli Suomi

This makes so much sense and I can sense the agony of juggling between the dull day job and the YouTube project. I'm sure things will go fine, you will have more energy and you will carve out more mental space to focus in video making. *And*, even if things don't go as planned, I'm certain that, with your skills and knowledge demonstrated by the hours of content on YouTube, you will get another, more pleasing day job in your area – or why not even remotely. Good luck!

Olivia Iacovou

i’ve always loved your content and your personality and i think everyone else does too - that is why you succeed and continue to thrive, just keep going same as always and you’ll be okay !!

OPAL

nothing but the absolute best to you and the best of luck. the level of quality you put out in your content, even as drained as you say you've been recently, is unmatched in my opinion! the charisma is there, the writing is there, the editing is there, it all just clicks! you deserve ALL the patreon moneys and i sincerely hope you're able to make this your full-time thing into the great beyond!
