Side channel: Help me fix my Play Trinity / Globecaster
🕑 Added 2024-09-20 00:21:26 +0000 UTCShot in the dark but I figured I should put up something about this because otherwise I have no idea where to even begin fixing it. Not much of a video, but I gotta cast a pretty big net if I'm gonna find anyone who can help me out with this godforsaken thing.
New studio video probably next week if no disasters happen.

If you happen to be hauling that beast through Colorado, I'd be happy to help try to troubleshoot it. I don't think I'll be in the Seattle area any time soon, though work sends me that way once a year or so.

If she's never going to respond, I'll spend the months reversing it. It's either a memory or driver error at level 1, at level two it's probably an allocation error, at level 3 it's a hardware issue, likely the bus as nothing works. I'd discuss level 4, but that doesn't translate into english well.

Do you have dumps of the software and firmware? I could try to reverse engineer what the error codes mean but that will vary a lot based on how hard the firmware is to navigate
