I don't see the issue? If the character would tell that joke, then the joke works. Just keep it in-universe.

Jokes needs to be within the context of its universe. Jokes should be lighthearted but it can also be sinister. Demetria is a character that would not say you mad bro. If she would make a joke, it would be with a sharp tongue. RANT: I did not like the mischievous action in rye arc (the one benny hill song) which i thought was too silly and out of place.
