We live in the MidWest and we are getting a metric shit ton of snow drop atop our heads I type these words.
Concurrently, it is only fitting that we watch a film that sends even more chills down our spine! All the while, being amazingly manly, gross and as Alex adeptly describes "Wet!."
It's John Carpenter's THE THING, y'all!!!
The classic cold weather horror-paranoia film ("The Shining" also included in that category) seemed like a perfect match for this harsh, snowy edition of MMM!
And also, neither Scott or Alex had never seen it!!!
We marvel at Kurt Russell's prospector hat, decide that Wilford Brimley's lack of facial hair is the most horrifying aspect of the film, and talk Alex having, and this will be Watchers in the Bar trademarked, Flesh Lettuce hands.
