Okay, just to say it even though I know this is old, Aang is not a Mary Sue. A Mary Sue/Gary Stew is a character thats only character flaw is that they're too perfect at what they're doing. Aang is a flawed character; he can be selfish, easily distracted, overwhelmed, confused, so on. He's just naturally talented when it comes to bending because he's the Avatar. Just because he's naturally talented at something doesn't mean he's a Mary Sue lol.

All good. I know you're far too cool and intelligent to fall for the "physically violent, angry bad boy must be saved and redeemed by the good girl" trope the way we did when we were wee babs and this first came out. :)

Oh no! You mean Zuko and Katara? That’s something we take seriously, even if we are joking around a lot!

All I'll say is ~don't romanticize abusive dynamics in a children's shoooow~~~ it's not healthyyyyy. He blackmails and holds her hostage. Not exactly romantic. (I know y'all were mostly joking, but I'm writing my master's thesis on romanticizing abusive relationship dynamics in children's shows, so I am passionate about this one.)
