It is funny how the play writers (said to be partially a cabbage merchant who knew a lot) knew so much and it's so much from the protagonists perspective but the crowd cheers when they lose haha. Though it's a recap episode in disguise, and the end of the play reminds you that it's propaganda. I'd say the episode is far more fun than say an episode where Aang gets knocked out and has flashbacks of the show. That's just a typical recap episode to save on time and money.

i wouldnt know. im what you wild kids call "straight edge". i was in everything: cheerleading, student council, chorus (seperation of church and state here so not choir, CHORUS lol) and safety patrol. never went anywhere (according to mom we couldnt afford it) so unless it was a free class trip like to the science museum and the swamp lands: i missed out. i heard that the pk kids on the away games (footballers and cheerleaders) were getting it on but thats the only rumor i heard. me personally, i didnt have sex til i was out of my mom's house, out of school and with a job. the most salacious thing i heard was this "straight dude" (who was always eye balling me cause i was the only out dude i guess) gets drunk at house parties and kisses boys which explained a LOT. i mean im not exaggerating. white boy had the jungle fever but no balls to act on it. would just be starring at me all the time. and he sat IN FRONT of me. like what lol

time for a shakespearen "comedy of errors". "sob sob HOPE!" its funny cause its true lol its like real world history books, so much we get wrong outside of names and who won. sigh SEASON 3 IS THE BESTEST!

lool never thought I'd say this but I missed the hellish mannequin that's usually behind Dustin and Morgan. It's like the fourth reactor and it's always happy Also that whole part where stage-Toph echolocates their faces and like sustains that horrendous roar for so long and then says "There. I got a pretty good look at you" just destroyed me as a kid, like had me laughing so hard my I couldn't breathe and missed the next few scenes. man, and it's still peak comedy. Delightful episode, I am forever moved by the creators for loving us enough to spare us from a clip show.

The ending of the play seems like one those state media required endings. Like China or North Korea. Some official was probably like "hey man, you seem to be making the Avatar kind of sympathetic. That's a no-no. Why don't you make them seem more like idiots and have them lose."

Yeah it's not like Hamilton is told from the perspective of Alexander Hamilton, who dies at the end of Hamilton. That would be crazy... Like Macbeth dying at the end of Macbeth. Surely the protagonists of plays always live to the end of the play...

Probably the best way to do a recap episode. Obviously the play wasn’t good or anything, the characters literally say so afterwards. “But the effects were decent,” so there’s that!

First off its funny you say Zuko is shredded (which he is, abs are great) but since season 1 he has actually lost a lot of mass, he was jacked in the first season boulder shoulder style haha Also As much as i love this show i am even more excited to see you guys watch Korra, i think the discussions around it are going to get so interesting and fun. cool! i was expecting for the movie reaction to be after the series coverage actually and then korra, but youre right in that than kinda would end things on a sour note instead of ending with that amazing ATLA finale.
