Admittedly, it's been rough few weeks for me. I'm honestly so glad you're covering this series right now, atla followed by the clone wars were the two key shows of my childhood that I look back on so fondly, and with you guys being my favourite reactors it's hitting at the right time, thanks guys. When I signed up to your channel at almost the beginning of atla (maybe 3rd-5th ep?). I never envisioned i'd need you guys so much right now, thanks y'all for running such a great and wholesome channel, love from down under! <3

LOLOLOL, aint it tho?

Edina Lewis

Morgan constantly misgendering Zero is a whole mood :)

ShreddedNinja

That's because Dave knows how to do good character development. I think it was all planned to turn her into a hated character to the most beloved.

Connie Tsang

i admit, i hated this a lot less than i expected. i always hear how terrible this is. with that said, i'll probably never watch it again lol

Manny D.

I always feel a bit bad for Ahsoka in this movie because people forget that she is just 14 years old here. All 14 year olds are annoying lol. And then she’s made to go off and fight a war. That’s a lot for a kid. Idk if she had been super serious and badass from the start, instead of learning to be a badass, I think I would have liked her less

After all the shit this franchise has put us through we have earned a live-action version of Asajj Ventress.

Mathies

yeah, totally!

Michelle

yeah this! i think ATLA and Korra would have gotten away with much more too, had they aired on CN rather that Nick. For example Samurai Jack allowed characters to get cut and bleed, and monsters to actually get dismenbered, and it was still a kids show. CN is just a lot more free and lax with stuff like that compared to Nick.

Mathies

I think you said it last week and you said it here again, so i just wanna correct: CW didn't ever come out on Nickelodeon. Before Disney bought Lucasfilm, it was airing on Cartoon Network. i think they are a lot more comfortable with death on CN than Nickelodeon.

Mathies

Ahsoka Tano was definitely made to be annoying to start off with on purpose so that there's much room for her character development. kinda like how Sokka was mysoginistic and sexist in the first 4 episodes of ATLA just to kick that right out of him.

Rufus May

I'm sure rebellious teen Ahsoka will eventually worm her way into curmudgeonly old man Dustin's heart.

Sean TankTop

D is a Bold One. 🤗 But I think it’s fair criticism, even the most ardent CW fans will concede the initial broad strokes of the show are shaky and just need more time in the oven.

Sean TankTop

Like, what, over 5 times in various media?! Insanity.

Faeginn

Shaak Ti's been murdered in games, movies, comics and cartoons. Poor gal.

Faeginn

Grievous was actually intimidating as fuck in that, I remember his signature move was crushing heads with his feet and throwing people through walls with them lmao

Rufus May

Talking trash about the most popular character before they're even introduced is a bold move for sure.

Michelle

also holy shit dustins rant at the end lol. i feel u boys, i feel like that when i watch star wars things sometimes too.

Sean TankTop

I’ve seen the Gendy stuff, some really dope shit. General Grievous in those is fucking relentless and terrifying.

Tenuous Pterodactyl

Definitely feel 'ya on those initial thoughts about Ahsoka's character. If I remember correctly, Dave said the minute he introduced a new character that was not only going to be Anakin's padawan, but also in so many episodes, he knew people were going to hate it just on principle. So in a weird way, he leaned into it. He made her first appearance and a good deal of subsequent episodes show off her brash nature, her cockiness, and just made her very annoying. Then he took those traits and began to change her into something better. It still makes for a hard watch sometimes, though. Also, I would love to see you guys eventually take a look at the 2003 Clone Wars done by Tartakovsky! The visual storytelling alone is top-notch and has so many legendary sequences that still hold up today. Loving your reactions as always!
