This whole show is pretty much just me having a crush on Asami and Lin because they're awesome. As far as no airbenders are concerned it sucks but I guess it's kind of like how Katara was the only water bender in the southern water tribe for 60 or so years. The only reason she possibly became one is through her grandmother's lineage who relocated to the southern tribe from the north. The whole world was more isolated back then, especially the air nomads who lean heavy into isolationism which is why they were easy to wipe out.

This is unrelated to LoK, but a show I highly recommend checking out some time if possible is Merlin. It's an older British show, is on Netflix last I saw, and just a really great show to watch. Anyways love your reactions and can't wait to see more!

There hasn't been another airbenders since Sozin wiped them out at the start of the war. Tenzin was Aang's only airbender child. And Tenzin's children are also the only airbenders as well.

tbf neither did Korra though (she does in a later season however), she initiated that kiss don’t forget, they were both a bit of a mess this season.

Also I believe the United Army is the armed forces of the United Republic of Nations. Which is the name of the country where Republic City is and is made up of the former Fire Nation colonies in the Earth Kingdom. I was also confused at first and though they were like the UN peacekeeping forces or NATO or somethin but nah, they're from the United Republic.

The United Republic (city) is located in what used to be the firenation colonies in the earthkingdom. By the time the war ended, Firenation and earthkingdom people already had mixed families with half firenation and half earthkingdom children. So Aang and Zuko just decided to create a new country were people of all nations could live together. This is all from the comic "the promise"

i think the idea is that some airbenders did seek refugee in the earth kingdom, but were hunted down over the years and they stopped practicing airbending, so even if there were descendants besides aang, none of them had the ability to bend and the lineage was probably deluted a lot due to the persecusion of airbenders and stuff.

Republic City is in the Earth Kingdom, it used to be the Fire Nation colonies if I'm not mistaken. We'll also definitely be seeing Aang's other kids and get into a little bit of what went on with him and his family life. But yeah, this episode was nuts! And I legit cried the first time I watched this and Lin got her bending taken away but then immediately got chills seeing Iroh

I do gotta disagree with yall about Bolin "being an idiot for telling Asami about Mako and Korra". It's not Bolin's fault Mako screwed up. Bolin may not be the brightest but you can't blame him for how Mako didn't own up to his own stuff.
