Guys, if Aliens came down to Earth to "party", of course the military would get involved. Thor threw a 'come to Earth' invite to the rest of the galaxy. Your whole "he didn't do nothing" position is crazy. But yes, it's a silly episode. I for one was happy to get a silly one after all the death and destruction.
