Just to clear something up, Asami's factory is going under because her dad's actions helping Amon tanked business. She also has this entire inventory of war machines created by her dad for the equalists that she has nothing to do with. The season started with Asami trying to make a deal with Varrick to ship her other products to places where the company's brand isn't toxic.

Ugh yes I love that episode and it’s so cool to see more of the spirit world and a certain someone. (They have finished season 2 so not a spoiler). I feel the back half of this season is way stronger than the first half. I feel like if they had tighter writing and more stability with Nickelodeon this could have been an amazing season like three or four. Cause the avatar lore and spirit world were amazing in this season!

My favorite characters that are in the series as of season 2: Good guys: 1.Korra 2.Asami 3. Bolin 4.Jinora. Least favorite characters: Mako, Unalaq. Side Characters I love: Milo, varrick (he’s funny even if he’s a corrupt billionaire), Zhu li, Bumi, Kya. Lol Varrick is fucked up but he is funny 😄 Also I really like Tenzin and his relationship with Korra and his children through the seasons, it’s really sweet. I think he was well done as the son of Aang and Katara.

Yeah I’m similar. I liked her but didn’t love her the first two seasons, but I definitely liked how they did her character in the first better. In season two in the first half she’s seems to stumble back in her characterization. But in season 3 and 4 she becomes my favorite character! Now when I I see season 1 and 2 all I can think is poor baby, she has no idea what is coming! 😄 Much better growth and I think It’s because they got green lit for 3-4 at the same time.

I can’t wait for next week’s episode! This is when the animation studio stuff is sorted out and Korra’s art style finalizes into something lovely. (It isn’t close to season 1’s animation, but to be fair very few shows are—that one was an insane exception in terms of raw numbers of drawings-per-episode 🤩.)
