Yes this is the Book of Boba Fett but the BEST episodes have to be the last two episodes that focused on Mando. Mando is a new character. Boba is a badass but in the movies he had 3 lines. Where do you go from there? Mando is a fresh start on a new story line that can expand.

So happy with this episode. I’m glad we got to spend some time with Grogu but I agree with Dustin: Fuck Luke! Don’t force him to choose between his Dad and the cool new toy.

Will!!! I was just talking with someone about thsi where it's like, literally the title of the show is kinda what's fucking up the works. Like if they had called it, The Tales of Tattoonie and made it a lot broader, I don't think there would be as much of an issue.

I think that most of the Boba stuff is pretty rad, but it's not really linking together in a way that feels like a narrative that's building toward something.

I totally agree with you that this could have worked better if they peppered the B plot throughout instead of just in 2 episodes. They made the mistake of letting it take over, and it overshadowed the rest of the show. I really enjoy the actual Boba Fett stuff, but they really did kinda cuck Boba out of his own show, which makes me a little sad. But I'm thrilled at the stuff I'm seeing on screen.
