Yet I don't pronounce Riener's name correctly til S4. lol
Catalina Soto
Good reaction, I really wanted to watch it all!
Catalina Soto
it was very subtle, but Eren said "that titan.... it was you, Dina" :)

To me, all episodes that are "the past" of characters, are the best ones. Very well written.
Not Amused
I always recommend a rewatch of this episode but I gotta say y’all caught/understood a lot more of the story dump in one go than any other reactors I’ve seen.
Lana
TBH it seems like you guys picked up a lot of important info and concepts through a first watch which is pretty impressive. Took me a few rewatches to understand the info dump this episode gave lol
Raymond Terry
In addition to the explanation about Grisha, where he came from and how the two nations are different, we also get to see the origin of so many familiar titans that have been peppered throughout the 3 seasons to this point. So many of them were from Grisha's group of revolutionists, including the one that Sean picked up on that played a big part at the end of season 2. It's really good storytelling.
Sean TankTop
I mean, I didn’t miss it. I just said she looked a lot like that Titan but I didn’t know for sure!
Mr.Atkins
I have such reaction blue balls right now….lmao how did you guys manage to miss Dina becoming the smiley Titan? Lol
Sean TankTop
couple of working stiff bartenders got it covered!
Sean TankTop
I've learned well

Flying Whale or we riot!
Saynt Michael
Sean swears he's gonna get his Titan Animorphs lol
Brimmy
When Sean literally explains the beginning of Season 4 to a T also ur right about the smiling titan being Dina (i was waiting for u to react to it, u were looking but i guess u didn't see???) and like most everyone else is gonna say the people that were turned in this ep were most of the titans from season 1 The bug eyed anime eyed titan that sasha missed hitting its nape and the santa claus lookin' titan that ate eren
Alejandro Gil
Dina really kept her word. She found Grisha's house and ate his new wife
Faeginn
My sadboy Zeke, can't wait to see how you reacted his backstory episode. Yeah, I had to rewatch this one the first time because its way too hard to digest everything all at once

This episode is such an information drop. I definitely had to watch it another time to fully grasp everything that happened. It's all important too lol
Kay
I appreciate that you all pick up on the WWII Germany/Poland parallels and have that as part of your discussion. I don't say that mockingly, but I have seen some reaction channels watch these episodes and my god, the historical illiteracy is kinda painful sometimes lol. I mean, the Eldians wear armbands with a STAR PATTERN on them. Literal concentration camps and dialogue about exterminating their race. AOT really takes inspiration from some very serious real world historical moments and themes and it's a real missed opportunity to see some people miss these things.
Josef Beck
Fun fact: You already know that most of the Eldian names are German or at least inspired. Zekes pronunciation sounds like the German word "Sieg". (Victory) So Grisha had that covered too ; )
Calvin Delaney
"I don't think the story is over yet" has to be your best line Sean considering what you know now lol
Matheus Almeida
as someone living in Europe, really appreciate the earlier drop :D

Eren had an episode called “that day” which changed his life forever and this is grisha’s “that day” that changed everything for him
This is Fine
So all the Titans that eat Eren’s squad in season one episode 5 were Grisha former comrades. Dina his wife was the Titan that eat Eren’s mom Carla.
