Yeah, sadly the cold open to episode 5 does not explain at all how they got into the basement. There’s no scene that fully compensated for the post credits scene to Ep4, but whatever, not a huge deal.

There is no problem with the post-credit scene... It is true that it is a great scene... But, I remember that it had more force on the day of its release. because there was a holiday in Japan on the day of the release of the fifth chapter, so they left us that post-credits scene because they knew we had to wait 2 weeks (it was cruel).

I missed the end credit scene of season 3 episode 12 🤷‍♂️ If anything, it made the Levi vs Mikasa/Eren scene even crazier to me cause I didn’t even know it was coming.
