i think its fine. i found them kinda funny most of the time. but i think this is just one of those mistranslations that really messed up. in the end its whatever, they caught up and know whats what

they knew from the jump they had bad subtitles but they liked how the translations were kinda wacky and kept them. But it hurts their comprehension in the long run because some *pretty important* stuff is just blatantly mistranslated in these subs. I'm kinda annoyed their editor didn't clue them in a bit on that but whatever, what's done is done

from what i know, crunchyroll and hulu get theirs from funimation which was the company that translated (idk if its still that way because crunchyroll owns funimation now) i do know netflix has bad translations but they only have s1 in the US

Yea the subtitles are whack. Anyone know what platform these are from btw? Are these the subs they have on crunchy roll or something? I’ve only watched on Netflix and Hulu and they had the right ones there. These are some bootleg Google translate subtitles 😂

i know yal already caught up and stuff but i just noticed theres a mistranslation in this ep. zeke actually says “eren jaeger is not my enemy” instead of “ is no match for me”. It’s kinda odd that they translated it that way on the platform you’re watching but yeah
