They've already finished watching by now, and if I had to guess, they watched the intro. Skipping the intro sequence would require both them and the viewers to resynchronize their videos, and that sounds like a hassle for everyone.

Sean is right-- though it is the stupidest plot point he has ever heard in his entire life, it's true, the author said keith was Eren's dad in an interview, but he just totally spaced and forgot to draw it in the manga. shit happens ._.

Sprinkling a lil bit of truth into it does help to make it more realistic yes but there was no way, after everything Eren did especially to their friends and people, that Pieck would actually side with him of all people

Keith Saydees is definitely Eren’s dad but I don’t know why they dropped that story thread. I thought it would be important. It’s probably a big part of part 3 tho.

I think that's the most relevant part--people would still hate them and come at them anyway--but I also think it'd be impossible to stop the Titan transformations entirely. Using the Curse to remove the Curse might be off the table because of how those mechanics are inexorably linked to what makes them metaphysically tied together as Eldians in the first place. Interesting to think about, I love this stuff lol

About 17:48 in the episode when Pieck does her cutesy little wave into the crowd of soldiers at the bottom of the stairs, she's actually signalling Galliard. He's right there almost in the middle of the frame, but a lot of folk don't notice first time around.

this show has been playing it so straightforward for so long that now that we have characters more outright lying and manipulating i see you guys have kind of a hard time realizing that lol. like of course pieck was lying, but eren was also just straight out lying to armin and mikasa when he said bert's memories where controlling armin or that mikasa only liked him because of her ackerman bond or whatever

The problem with Sean's "removing the titan powers" is that the world still wants to kill all the eldians and the only thing that's protecting them is their titan powers. The rumbling is their deterrent. And even if they remove the titan powers, would non-eldians really believe them? They'd still kill them all "just to be safe". Anyway, that's just my 2 cents.
