A couple of Japanese things about this episode - you clocked the movie references in the intro, but the golden balls are also a reference.......to a Japanese slang term for testicles, probably in relation to Denji and Aki's first big scene together. Or just because they thought it was funny to have that joke so front and centre right at the start of the show. Also I noticed you were a little confused at Aki's apparent over-reaction in the middle of the episode when Denji said something along the lines of 'I hope I get to hug her (Makima) again!'. Aki's double-take is because while what Denji said does mean 'hug', it's also a common euphemism for 'have sex with'.

also, i love that morgan focuses so much on denji staring at his boss's titties which yes is inappropriate but also makima is a grown ass woman basically grooming this kid to get her work done, i'd call HR on her if anything lol
