I am begging your editor to watch Birdie Wing: Golf Girls Story so that they can confirm it is The Most Anime to Anime in a hot minute and would make a great beginner spring board for for all sorts of genres depending on what you like most on it while still being cohesive in its capital C Campiness (has a season 2/another cour in April with 13 eps out right now)

NO comment is "necessary" lol. I was just expressing my opinion, and I wasn't even particularly hostile or angry. I was more disappointed. I just don't like the show is all. There's literally thousands of other shows out there. Why do I have to recommend a substitute? Their plate is full, I'm watching some of their other content, and my opinion is certainly not going to stop them from watching this show, nor should it. As a patron, I offered my opinion on the show, maybe as the reason why I won't be watching the reaction. Anyhoo, relax, Ryan.

While it's not the best way to be introduced to the show, Dustin and Morgan watching the Netflix Death Note movie doesn't spoil anything honestly LOL. The characterizations/tone/plot/setting are just sooo radically different from the original story. There's so little that the two have in common besides character names. Willem Defoe is fun regardless. Also I'm excited for the rest of your reactions, hear y'all rip into incel and fringe right politics before in other reactions makes me excited for y'all to watch Light's descent.

Could NOT keep watching this show. Not a single character to care about or root for. Mildly-interesting premise, boring story. I gave it at least 8 episodes or something to start living up to the hype, and it just...didn't. Not even a little. Nothing compelling about it. Light's just a textbook (notebook?) psychopath with a flimsy, predictable, cliché, and utterly insufficient hero-complex excuse. I'm glad it'll get you guys views, though.
