Hey so I don't know when you guys will see this but I don't think you should call the new godlike guy "Hoenheim." It'll just be a bit confusing. Hoenheim is the Elric brothers' dad, you should just call the guy that looks like him "Father." Hopefully this doesn't read as a spoiler since now you guys know they are two different dudes.

It's actually UK law, though. It's illegal to call something whiskey that isn't produced according to that law, just like Kobe beef. "Whiskey" is a ubiquitous term. "Scotch Whiskey" is not.

That's true, but it's also a shorthand word that has evolved past its technical meaning. Like the fact that we call tissues "Kleenex" or bandages "band-aids" even if they're not those brands. Everyone calls it parmesan but they're rarely using real parmigiano reggiano. And pretty much every gun in this show is drawn directly from WWI weapons from the Allies and Axis alike, both being used by the Amestrians at the same time, so it's pretty safe to say they're just pulling real elements from our world and we're supposed to just fill in the gaps mentally. No one notices that there isn't a United States when there are Browning machine guns used in the show.

Morgan ain't wrong. To be called "Scotch" or "Scotch Whiskey", it has be distilled, blended, or distributed only by certified, verified, licensed producers. If you are producing and selling a distilled product labeled "Scotch Whiskey" outside of Scotland, you have to go through additional verifications and licensing. I just don't think the artists or writer were maybe aware of the legalities of scotch. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/producing-scotch-whisky

im just glad you guys loved the opening, its my favorite and i listen to the full song almost every day. its a mainstream song in japan and the band is like what you said in ep 27 lol

Lust can’t come back because she was fully destroyed. Greed and gluttony were actually absorbed back into father before fully being destroyed so he basically has their essence in him ready to crap out again lol
