WELL WELL WELL We got ourselves a new show! We'll be dropping the 10th and final episode of CyberPunk later today! But this one was hot and ready so we figured we'd pull this CURSED TRIGGER and rock this new spooky Shonen show, Jujutsu Kaisen!
We know the show is in its 2nd Season as we speak and we didn't know exactly what to expect, but goddamn, if this isn't scratching that Chainsaw Man itch that we've been missing since last year!
Yujji is a well-meaning and INCREDIBLY athletic goofball with a Grandfather who ALL TOO CONVENIENT DEATH, lol.
We learn about Curses, some of the rules of this world, and meet Megumi and his Devine Dogs!
This is gonna be super wild and so much fun, we can already tell!

Yeaaah 🔥 reactions to this show are so fun to watch ! You might already know but there’s a movie called Jujutsu Kaisen 0 that was released between s1 and s2. It’s a prequel to the main story but kind of important in order to understand s2 and some characters better (and the movie is actually really good so I recommend watching it either way)

Heck yeah! Excited to see you guys dive into this anime-ass anime. Now we see why shows like AoT and Cowboy Bebop are recommended for anime newcomers when compared to shows like this 😅 This show is a Japanese Anime in the truest sense, so y’all are playing catch-up with a lot of things. Not just shonen anime tropes but Japanese culture stuff like honorifics are presented without pause for newcomers to catch their breath! Luckily the show slows down a bit after this lightning fast first episode. Glad you had fun jumping into what is basically the epitome of “What the Kids are into These Days”! Looking forward to more!!

In regards to the "senpai" thing you guys basically got it right - There is the meme version of "notice me senpai" that's basically just weeb cringe based off of anime trends, but the normal proper use of it in everyday Japan is basically just as an honorific for a senior colleague at work or in school (like someone in a grade above yours or someone who has been part of a club for longer than you like in the episode)

You guys are funny. 1. You totally saw a cellphone. Fushiguro made a call like 2 minutes in. The show is set in current modern times. 2. The occult club was already investigating the rugby field, and they found the finger previously, off-screen, before the episode timeframe. You didn't miss anything.
