Here come the death paintings, oh boy, I’m surprised you guys didn’t theorize about them instead of the origins of the members of the curse frat! Just wait till you learn more about the death paintings, since we are theorizing how curses are made 👀 I don’t know if you all remember, but Jogo and Hanami and baby kraken represent curses born from the fear and anxieties related to natural phenomena and disasters (they are dubbed the disaster curses). Mahito (curse born from human hatred) is chillin with them because their goals are the same.

Special grade curses are born from a great intensity of negative energy directed at a thing. Like: Mahito is a curse born from the fear and resentment that humans have towards each other, which must certainly generate a lot of negative energy and make him a Special Grade. And when he says that people have always feared the oceans, the earth and the forests and that the energy directed towards this was very great, an image of the little 🐙 guy, Jogo and Hanami appears.
