Honestly, the whole of the Coven stuff is great! There's such a delicate balance of Mother Aniseya kinda being a cultish weirdo but also desperately wishing for her own daughter's automony!
We get some more back story, and honestly the face off with the Coven and the 5 jedi was super tense and TOMMEN GOT MIND-FREAKED!
And Sol continues to be among the most perfectly casted Jedi since Ewan McGregor!

based on the fact that the mother/leader has the same mark on her third eye chakra, they said its an acension, they are her daughters, and she had them say "you will lead when i am gone", i took the marking as a sign of royalty. like only the queen has it and via the ascension they are embracing their destiny of ruling the coven. the mark only appeared after the mother placed it on mae's head via some glowy magic.

it was meh to me. if it was longer, focused more on the coven and gave me some exposition on to who they are, why they are and how they are and showed EVERYTHING that happened in that "fire", i would have dug it more. they call themselves witches. what does that mean in this universe? how have they hidden themselves on this planet? what is their mission statement/ultimate goal? we only scratched the surface of that lore then fridged them all. no bueno. it had bits here and there but not enough to make me like the over all finished product. the fire part just like emil. they were not burned up, also the fire was so far away and tiny no way it caused that tremor and all those explosions. they all look like they were brain fried to me #itwasthejediallalong. dont trust them dont trust them.

Good to hear, re-watching GoT with Sean and Angel quietly became an expectation. I miss it when it ain't there. Weird missing strangers but I love y'all so whenever y'all get the time is fine with me.

again i think we've been conditioned to think about some wonky flim flam hand wavy shit and we just gotta accept that's what happened, when we're clearly gonna spend some time seeing the other perspectives of this event. Again, sorta like the TLJ moment of temptation with Luke and Kylo. Likely, we see from Mae's POV, the the Jedi's then finally this Sithy mfer, which will have the whole story.

Another great episode, really well written from the creator of this show. Felt like we saw the perspective of Osha so i really am curios about what the truth really is? Whats Mae's perspective etc. Torbins face in the ship at the end was bloody and wrecked, something fishy is going on with these jedi.
