I can’t remember if it says in the books but it makes me wonder. Paul said he sees a narrow path, a golden path if you will. Is the narrow path he’s sees the only way they survive or the only way they get revenge? Revenge and justice are different things and Paul says he believes in revenge.

I was shocked that no one made the comment after Paul rode the worm and then the next scene is is Zendaya riding Paul's worm lol. I was hoping one of you guys would say some shit lol. I was laughing so hard during that transition.

So if you've ever seen Inside Llewyn Davis you know it has a part with Bob Dylan being introduced. Inside Llewyn Davis had Chalamet's father Oscar Isaac discovering Bobbie Dylan. And now Chalame le bing bong is playing Bob Dylan. And i say what's going on?

So in the book Chani was never against the religion. She was full in with helping Paul. I am HAPPY the movie made her go against Paul. It adds that layer that Paul is not a good guy. She helps show it. And I think it makes a better story for a movie. It also updates the movie for modern audiences who aren't pulled in by the "White savior, dude visits native america and saves it" audience. Along with the Iraq war bullshit narrative that it's for freedom. Science fiction is supposed to do that. EDIT: Just got slightly further in watching this reaction and you address this lol. So glad.

Chalamet is a great yeller like you pointed out. He reminds me of Pacino where he can flip a switch from calm to intense yelling.

When they are harvesting spice it's a lot like a strategy game that came out in the 90's similar to Starcraft. I kept thinking about my strategy I would do in the game when that scene was happening. Also I read the books. So I am deep into the world. Glad they made a couple of great films to show it.
