I think Cousin represents ego death and recovery. He essentially went to rehab in the last episode. In the old days when someone was recovering sometimes they were told to wear suits to make themselves feel better. And with all the writing about Al-Anon and the brother's death, I think this was intentional. (Now the timing with Zelenskyy being asked why he doesn't wear a suit is kind of hilarious. But he wears pride with his own uniform.) But the idea to show up, get the job done, respect others, make amends and respect yourself...and then as Natalie says "Take baby steps" steps...12 steps? The show is showing us something. With the brother and his drug problems and the mother with her alcohol issues. As hard as it is to admit these things...they are incredibly important issues that we all deal with. They are taking that somewhere.

Okay...the caustic convo had me rolling. Because I did the same thing. I would call people "homely." I thought it meant they were like good, very humble and sweet. My friend was like "What do you think homely means?"
