We're back with the finale of Peacemaker S2 and we had a nice lil' time with it!
A lil' scant on some details that could have been developed over the season sorta get rushed thorough, but we're still rocking with it!
Danielle Brooks CARRIES this episode! What a couple of absolutely beautiful scenes and it's lovely to see her grow as a performance and for Ads as a character!
Some fun, multiverse stuff is cool!
And we're trying to figure out who in Nelson is rocking a wig or hair implants!

For me he felt like he was always being set up to be a villain. The scene towards the end in Superman he looks very unhappy that Metahumans are getting too much power in the world. And in Creature Commandos he throws his entire group under the bus to go fuck the queen. More than anything he seems like an incredibly selfish person who uses everyone around him.

I enjoyed that episode. But Flag turning bad guy was kind of weird. From all we saw of him in Creature Commandos and Superaman...it seems like he wouldn't be the bad guy. Also, I heard someone say it was more like an epilogue than an actual episode lol

I think the issue with most shows nowadays is they only get 6-8 episodes and while some character development happens a bit quick sometimes I think Gunn did a fantastic job with the little time he had. Maybe it's because how personal of a show this was for Gunn or it really just resonated with me but this was one of the more emotional finales i've seen in a while. I think this show, Superman, Sucide Squad and Creature Commandos are better than anything the DCU managed to do before Gunn and I believe completely in his vision and ability to make DC better and bigger than the MCU ever was. I expect it to be so much more diverse and not be the carbon copy slop factory the MCU became. Having Clayface be so early on and it being horror is so ballsy but gives me all the more faith in this project.
