Absolutely amazing. The dialogue isn't that mushy throwaway crap that makes everyone shiver in disgust when hearing/reading it. The character interaction is something I'm definitely invested in and would like to see more of the two. The animation is something to get use to, but you've explained the intent and is completely reasonable and now I kind of see it as a style for you. Also, you've smoothed it where it counts, like closeups, POV and , in a good way, gratuitous foot scenes. Again, splendid job and can't wait to see more.

Yeah! I animated an entire step back and throw thing with that but cut it down to halfway between the throw because it felt like the right kind of pacing. Also, that YEET is a potential gateway to doing wiggly lines or having the words "grow" around a character floating like a 2d drawing. I really liked that kinda stuff and I think I can do it here.
