The CEO Rena Mero is having a power struggle with the commissioner Rowdy Roddy Piper who is overstepping his boundaries. AJ Styles cuts a promo saying he is coming for the XWF Cruiserweight Championship. Norman Smiley vs Johnny B Badd have one of the best matches of the night. The Nasty Boys are currently feuding with the Road Warriors and decide to sneak attack them as they are fighting the Shane Twins. In the main event, Curt Hennig beats Buff Bagwell with help from Bobby The Brain Heenan. Vampiro comes down the stooge on them. Hail then comes down to beat up Vampiro, prompting Piper to come with a chair and Rena Mero to follow. The show ends in chaos. Plus, the boys talk about the best tabletop games!

It's great seeing another review for the XWF, shows like these are a nice change of pace from the usual WWE/WCW/TNA reviews, I still love those but I like the idea of you guys covering more obscure content like this, I'm sure Wrestllicious, AWF, Herb Abram's UWF and even that Lucha Show that MTV aired for a few weeks would have some hilarious insanity perfect for the podcast.

I don't know which was more egregious, the fact AJ Styles was rendered at 5 frames per second like he's Matt Hardy V1's titantron, the Jimmy Hart version of "Last Resort" over his promo, or the fact that the show just loved using the same stock disappointed crowd noise after impactful moves and it was incredibly noticeable

I willingly sat through this XWF episode for the boys and...ugh. It just committed every cardinal sin of that era of pro wrestling. Why not have one authority figure (who can't cut a promo) when you can have TWO? Why is Greg Valentine on my screen? Why is a goddamn Nasty Boy telling me NO PRIMADONNAS? Will pro wrestling ever give up attempting to push GIANT PEOPLE with no charisma? And the finish to the main event was absolutely hilarious in all the wrong ways. Seriously, it was like anyone attempting to make a fresh product (exception: ROH) in that era just assumed "COPY WWE" was the best way to go and shock and awe, they all FAILED.
