UFC 278. From top to bottom, it has some of the most hilarious fights with one of the greatest moments in UFC history happening in the main event. Some of my personal favorite moments: Luke Rockhold getting tired 20 seconds into his fight and just throwing shit. A fight ends in a draw despite a fighter dropping his opponent twice within a minute and walking away both times. The opening fight has a guy win after getting folded by a liver shot. Overall the best and worst of MMA in one show.

Please for October do Halloween Havoc 1995. Not only is there the monster truck fight between the Giant and Hulk Hogan, before the actual match with the Giant and Hulk Hogan featuring the Yeti, but one of the matches on this show is Sabu (with his uncle the Sheik as his manager) vs Jerry Lynn (who goes by "Mr. JL") This PPV is such a shit show that it's legit a "so bad it's good" B horror movie. Bobby Heenan's commentary is hilarious. Would also recommend checking out Chris Benoit/Dean Malenko vs William Regal/Bobby Eaton, which was a pre show match on the card that aired on syndicated TV, and was unsurprisingly way better than any match on the actual PPV.

Survivor Series 1996 Hello Deadlock this is Vincent I am a brand new subscriber to your patron, and I am excited to join I have watching your something gonna happen videos, and they have been a blast to watch. I have a question for you guys do you take ideas or requests for a something gonna happen ppv to watch. I'm not sure yet how it works for you guys choosing what ppv to watch next but if guys would you like to hear my idea I would love for you guys to do Survivor Series 1996. Why Survivor Series 1996 might you ask well for several reasons, one Sycho Sid just passed away and as you would know this night would be his defining moment I say. His amazing entrance to him winning the world title is still a great moment. There is also The Rock's debut as Rocky Maivia with pineapple haircut and all. The first Bret Austin match is great yet almost underrated, understandable though as the second match is a all time classic. But the real reason I want you guys to cover the show is in fact for WWF debuts of Doug Furnas and Phil Lafon. Having come from All Japan then ECW there was a lot of hype for these guys when they debuted then. Here is a story I want to tell please forgive me as it's kinda long as you see I wasn't born yet and when I saw these two for the first time almost ten years ago when I bought the Survivor Series Anthology dvds. As a young kid with autism I wanted to seek out older matches as I loved the WWE legends they thought they cool. So I bought dvds of older stuff from the past including the anthology dvds. When I saw the first the opening match of that Survivor Series, I'd said who are these guys I'd never heard of them before and this was before I smarted up and really only know WWE stuff as my home didn't have internet at the time. But when the match ended I was immediately impressed with these two, with such moments as Phil Lafon hitting a nice top rope inverted suplex on Leif Cassidy, striking Owen Hart with a stiff spinning wheel kick, ending with Doug Furnas just straight up drilling Owen with a german suplex and end to the match with them as the sole survivors. I said to myself these guys are great what happened to them. Then I read their WWF run fizzled out and they both retired soon after with Furnas unfortunately passing away. Early this year I was reminded of Furnas and Lafon and I said again oh yeah they were great. So as learned of wrestling outside of America I seeked all their other work, I was pleased to learn that in fact Doug Furnas and Lafon aka Dan Kroffat were in fact pretty successful before joining the WWF. Obviously I could say what has been said before about their previous runs, their with Kenta Kobashi and Tsuyoshi Kikuchi is a all time classic, so is their matches with Footloose in 1989, they both did a lot for Rob Van Dam and was the catalyst for the RVD and Sabu tag team in ECW. I really think they should be talked about more, but it's seems they have been pretty forgotten by a lot of people and I have been trying to get people to remember them by posting their stuff on reddit and twitter but I'd love to see Deadlock give them their flowers alongside Sycho Sid too as a tribute to him too. I could ask for Survivor Series 1997 but the best thing they do there is Doug Furnas speaking about Americans and our drug, crimes, slime and degenerates (he's not wrong).
