Marceline's House (New Models)
🕑 Added 2015-05-27 08:33:07 +0000 UTCIt's a huge decision I had to make, removing and replacing assets worth 2-4 weeks of effort.
But it's for a huge change that I absolutely prefer!
-Faster character creation. A model can be finished in 3-7 days compared to 2-4 weeks before.
-Faster real-time rendering. From 300 FPS to 600 FPS. (Using GeForce GTX 770)
-Smaller filesize. From 280MB to 173MB.
-Anime/Cartoon feel. The huge disappointment I had when I released the demo (0.5) to the public was, it's too realistic. It's WAY off from the bright world of Adventure Time. Not to mention, it's not an art style I'm used to. With the new anime/cartoon style, things will be brighter and more fun!
-However, the new models are polygonal and simpler. Something you'll see from old console eras. (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube) But it's something I'm extremely accustomed to.
I understand that some will be disappointed with the decision I made, but I believe this is better than my previous method.

hey ! i love your models im trying to learn how to model myself my ex got me zbrush awhile back but never had the time to try it out, but now seeing your work im inspired could you please tell me what programs or progess steps you did ?lol please and thanks soo much

Can we get "Reject" Marcelline model, since the old model will be removed from production.

The original hairstyle+ clothes will be remade in the new art style as well.

There are plans of removing the "certain code", but will be transferred to another demo.

If not a switch between models, can we at least get a toggle for hairstyles? I was never really a fan of the punk look. The long flowing hair was the best one =/

It is nice- very fitting with the Adventure Time thing. While I did like the old Marceline, I do prefer the new look and feel more. Maybe an Easter Egg of Marcy is in order. ;P
