Very true, that extra layer of protection is good, and I can definitely see the appeal in it. Also I'm pretty sure that we as community members only had a glimpse of what distasteful behaviours you have been subject to by being a woman who show her face on the internet.

Of course! Internet always has weirdo. But vtubers definitely have more protections which I think is good

Yeah vtubers get it bad too, hiding their identity just makes people more determined. No one should have to put up[ with those kinds of sick creeps though.

Unfortunately I'm sure some vtuber had peoples trying to dig up informations about their real identity, and a bunch of other animé weirdos.

They probably have the biggest crazies of all. Go down the anime rabbit hole and it gets wild. Like make me feel dirty wild. Loli, tentacles and horses all at once kind of stuff.
