Humans may be slightly miffed, but the Celestials had no real responsibility to intervene sooner or at all for that matter. If they determined that humanity was on the brink of extinction then the Mantle of Responsibility would compel them, but only then.

15 *blinks* 15 FUCING YEARS!!!!!!!!??????? oh nah the every human in UEG space is going to have a valid generational crashout ya'll mfs waited until like 100+ planets were glassed and 10 billion+ people dead note the UEG had an estimated population of 39-40 billion the war killed 23 billion human, according to the visual guide this will have SEVERE consequences not only for relations but also more debate on the Mantle as actions should have been taken sooner.

Unless there’s some specific reason they can’t bring the full might of their Military on the covenant, I see no reason why the actual war with them should take very long all things considered. I suspect more of the story will be about how the two humanities interact and integrate whilst the looming threat of the flood comes ever closer. No matter what I’m really looking forward to this story and where it goes

The covenant are not ready for the beatdown they are about to receive. I enjoyed it. The population going up over time was a nice touch. I’m curious to see what Atticus and Emily’s family is like.
