Celestial Ascendant Chapter 3 Part 1

I can only apologise for my lack of posts - and importantly my silence.
For the past 3 months, I've been in great amount of stress and workload at work (I was in charge of a major investment at the company and my team had to pass three different approval audits where quite a lot of money depended on - and probably our jobs) and that, combined with the mental block (HALO is so lore heavy with so many books that is needed to be used to make it a true HALO crossover)...well it's been tough.
And I can retreat into myself when pressure is high and I am disappointing people. As I have disappointed you and have treated you unfaily.
I would say that I am quite a fair person but I can readily admit that my lack of posts and silence was both utterly unfair. I also admit that I hate excuses and part of my silence, is because of not wanting to give excuses. Because I should not have been so unable to post normally, even if RL work had taken a large block of everything.
If you want a refund, please message me (I have not extracted the fund since September). With the Christmas Break, I won't be working of course, and I can use it to set things right.
Which also include in resuming the stories that I am way behind on.
The busyness of RL work has receded, a lot, and I can return back to normalcy, especially since my mental block is, for the most part, gone. A lot of was because of CH3 Part 1 which of course, is one of several important 'first contact' scenes.
In any case, I hope the below chapter can at least make you feel a little better though I expect a lot more will be needed for things to be right again.

He’s alive! Glad to see your return to the land of the living. Hope life isn’t to stressful but I get how that goes. Based on this chapter I can tell there will absolutely be no problems with unsc/celestial relations, none at all! (Screams internally)

Nice to see that you are back. About the break I think its totally fine to take breaks from writing even of its for simple lack of motivation. Although it would be nice to be informed of such things so we know what to expect. The chapter itself was very good, humans being skeptical as they should be. Its going to be interesting to see proper negotiations start. I was surprised how confortational the captain (?) was since you would expect them to act very carefully not to offend the Celestials. I guess it makes sense since he is a military captain but I would think the envoy is going to be different.
