I've done the "extreme sports" (motocross, skateboarding, bmx, snowboarding, and more) my whole life, and I've had plenty of falls, but luckily only one broken bone and it wasn't bad so it was a short recovery.

1) it's unlikely in my mind, since most people have no reason to learn. However, it does coincide with the kind of person you are, so I'm going to say true. 2) thankfully, I have not, but I do however have a history of being accident-prone. My balance is more than good enough to stop me from getting more than a lump or bruise, but I've still broken many drinking glasses, and a trio of bottles containing red wine.
