1) False, no way you haven't enjoyed that goodness yet 2) Duck confit. My family had the good fortune to live in Bordeaux for some time and the cuisine there was superb. I'm not a bad cook, but I cannot come close to doing justice to duck confit. It's a perfected centuries old process for a reason...
