I liked it, a lot! It expose some information in a light way, expanding your world and giving us, the readers, some glimpses of the true thoughts of Daniel and his Uncle. Eliminating some ambiguity about the whole phoenix situation and even giving some lead to some possible new and interesting plot lines.

I like the chapter, even if not as much background information about why the rulers acted as they did is revealed. Are they just greedy or was it a calculated risk to protect their interests? I especially like Daniel's stance and attitude in this chapter ;) Thanks for your hard work and regular updates!

Small typo btw "Do you want Daniel to lie about how he got a sacred flame" should be Adam. Also I think the chapter is fine as is, makes sense to me

I thought it was fine. Maybe cursing was unexpected. And I do enjoy exposition more than average. Only thing is what is that sixth race whose relationship is unclear
