Ehh you can really stretch any elemental trait to be advantageous for alchemy, although fire is obv preferred. Maybe lightning helps expedite the impurity purification process or helps suffuse ether through the whole brew. and as for him being primarily physical, that's not accounting for natural talent and years of honed skill. Like how a blessed with a bunch of charm based soulkin still wouldn't be as effective as Adam is at aiding bonds at the beast temple. Daniel def doesn't have all the advantages Adam does but he's been grinding it for way longer

I do wonder how does MC best friend is able to concoct anything as not only hes mainly physical blessed but his element is lightning.
