Some view them as necessary evils, fighting against the unchecked power of megacorporations and corrupt officials. Others see them as dangerous criminals, operating outside the law and posing a threat to the city's fragile stability.
"These ronins are a symptom of a broken system," says Dr. Kenji Sato, a sociologist at Sleepless City University. "Their existence highlights the growing disparity between the powerful and the powerless. They are both a product of and a response to the dystopian reality we live in."
For now, the ronins continue their fight in the shadows, their motives as enigmatic as their methods. Whether they are saviors or scourges remains to be seen, but their impact on city is undeniable.
