OMG and then immediately after saying "I love that this has a ceiling." "And I love that its low." LMFAO

Daniel Kerley

The foreshadowing from James when he saw Pillman wrapped up at the beginning of the video "Oh he's hurt!" Not yet brother, but he will be.

Daniel Kerley

So no one knows the font?

TaxScandalandTheBuenos

This shit is so sick, I've rewatched this one several times

Dave K

I cant believe Larry does the fucking headstand sell on the Sting diving shoulderblock between the rings. I didnt know Larry had it like *that*

Andrew Carnborn

That first fucking Syd Powerbomb to Pillman was HEINOUS

Tony Jumped My Ass At The Durham Armory

Rick Steiner really said someone’s getting CTE tonight and it’s gonna be me

scottelot

I'm like the boys where I didn't really think I'd be into the older stuff either, but there's so many 'smart' spots in this and some of the other matches on Watch This we've seen that are just lost now that I love. It's such a good indicator of just how much wrestling has evolved/changed over the years and what's done differently.

I Ordered the Hulkorus from the pastamania restaurant and now I have type 3 diabetes brother.

Grabbing the cage roof to dropkick Whindham was tits

I Ordered the Hulkorus from the pastamania restaurant and now I have type 3 diabetes brother.

Watching Sid bugged eyed asking Rick Stiener if he was ok after going headfirst into the cage was honestly wholesome as shit lol

Clinton Mac

No, let Jawnny cook. I think War Games would be more entertaining if they just released bees into the cage.

TheDman0310, average 1992 WCW enjoyer

We had Gage vs LuFisto vs Zandig vs Lobo last year

The difference, besides blood and safety concerns, is that WCW and WWE have wildly different definitions of cagematches. WCW used cage matches as a 'nobody can escape, they must settle this' type match. WWE for some reason uses them as a 'what if you just take the roof off and climb out' match, which defeats the purpose of the cage.

TheDman0310, average 1992 WCW enjoyer

It's because they can bleed. Modern War Games matches try to overcorrect the lack of blood with weapons and choreographed spots but it just makes it a boring plunder brawl. That and they've repeated Io Shirai doing the Great Sasuke spot for like five years running.

zaza so rancid it made me end Bobby Roode's TNA push

Sid doing a fucking Ganso Bomb to Pillman is insane

JP Tuesday

I'm old. I saw this show live on PPV. It's definitely peak of pre-Hogan, pre-nWo WCW. I'd love to see you guys watch more of this era.

JP Tuesday

The issue is WWE does two War Games matches in one night. It would be sus if both matches had the heel team get the advantage. They need to just do one.

James Darrel, Anthony Douglas and John Budd.

I've had a thought recently about how his E run could've went if HHH was in charge then. Maybe better?

NO PEPPERONI PENNE FOR PULSE, NO TURKEY TETRAZINI FOR TONY, AND NO JABRONI JAMBALAYA FOR JAWNNY BROTHER

Like 6 minutes in and this is wild before a 3rd man comes in Pillman was thinkin up crazy shit

Lee Flanagan

How good was this so simple but wow genuinely lowkey shits on recent war games matches don't get me wrong roh 2006 rules on watch this but wow looking back at this its actually so enjoyable can someone explain why hahah well apart from the fact that dusty and JR on commentary fucking rule every move is like woaaah

BigJ

Need some more old-school Stinger matches. Maybe one of his battles with Vader?

Hey James, Im coming to Charlotte to watch Judgement Day 2003, can you ask Jawnny if there's anything to do in Philly on my way

I'd love to see a Watch This! of Jade vs Rosemary Six Sides of Steel. I recently have done a deep dive into Rosemary after watching some old DPW and have really fallen in love with her as a worker.

hey it's me tna's black reign with misty the artic fox aka the big silver one

now we need a cage of death watch this

Armando J. Mendoza

That was awesome! I had no idea El Gigante was the first member of the penis exploding machine club! Makes sense now.

450 splash no clothes style

YEAHHHHH I LOVE THE HORSEMEN

Roose

great wargames, i think 92 wargames is even better. if you dont "get" Sting after that I dont know what to tell you

Przemek Barwik

Didn't Pillman really got fucked by Sid here?

Please update the Sunday night heat retro sync link

I love this match. Very glad you watched it. It's crazy to think that the 92 one is arguably even better. Also I can't stand when people do war games and give the faces the advantage. TNA did it a few times and WWE does it every year it feels. It's so backwards. This is the easiest shit to book. Heels get the advantage until the face makes the save. repeat.

Mah-Dry-Bread

Man I love that you guys are getting into older stuff! I've been real into 80's and early 90's stuff for a long time but this era of WCW is a blind spot for me, so getting to watch it with you guys is just the best

you want a war 🤨🤨

can we watch big egg (no breaks btw)

Naveth

The boys watching wcw wargames is always good shit

Fat Ryback

This show also had Big Van Vader vs. Stan Hansen ending in a double disqualification. That had to be a slugfest.

Badnewsbrown202

I’m in my mid 40’s and I grew up with this era of WCW. I’m so glad you guys are enjoying these old school matches.

AzraelReaperX

Just further proof that wrestling has always been awesome. It may not always be awesome in the same place, but there's always something that's fucking dope happening somewhere in the business.

AzraelReaperX

Absolutely. Sure, the second half of his TNA run and his WWE run weren't great, but his AEW run more than made up for it imo

Chase 'Da Bag' Richardson

dude shout out ric flair with the edgar cut, shit was pristine

Charlie shaw

Now we need the War Games where Colonel Parker shits himself

CJExtreme98

This was the first war games match for me. I remember my dad tryna get me to watch it and thought it would suck cause of the fed telling me how bad WCW was

Jack Kinghoff

“Giant Gonzalez is in the Four Horsemen??” - Toby with the quote of the year

ThiccFlair

Really loving all the older stuff for Watch This as someone whose been digging further into 70s-early 90s stuff i've passed over in the past

KODIAK

THERE’S NEVER BEEN A WHAT IN THE FOUR HORSEMAN??

Ron Corleone

I started watching wrestling in 96 so hearing JR dong WCW commentary and Schiavone doing the ring announcing feels weird. This makes me want to watch more War Games, I went to check and see if Macho Man was ever in one, he was but it's with the freaking Dungeon of Doom....

Jay Carter

the parlay odds for that being the ending would've been nuts

The King of Gaa Gaa

This match fucking rules

Pat_Mashants

Love watching Old School stuff I've never seen, with the boys.

Ryan Russell

the boys getting into old school wrestling wrestling is one of my favourite developments. nastys vs. steiners when?

TreeFood(Jake)

Sting doesnt get talked about enough in the GOAT convo

TrshBandicoot

got dropped on that stack of dimes he calls a neck

FalconX9K

It probably makes sense to get the better workers in the match early so they're in the ring longer

Drew Cook

This gets Brian Pillman so over as a babyface for me.

WalkerOfStars513

This Match Ruled!

I shouldn't have smoked that Giant Zaza pack, now I'm trapped in the Budokan with Johnny Ace. HELP

early to mid 1990's WCW is how pro wrestling should look, it's such a clean and beautiful stage setup

I shouldn't have smoked that Giant Zaza pack, now I'm trapped in the Budokan with Johnny Ace. HELP

There's a WHAT in the Four Horsemen??
