Another pleasing episode of SS3. Thanks Danny.. Here in the US we call it, bring your kid to work day. Sort of the reverse of what you do. I watched Korean baseball yesterday on ESPN. what I found particularly funny was that you could hear the fans cheering but there were cardboard cut outs in the seats. He actually mixes a lot of different languages in his songs (especially the older ones). I think there's one song where he includes like 4 or 5 languages all jumbled together. His Korean pronunciation is kind of slurred in places, but I think it's very deliberate. It's kind of like having a twang? I guess that's the only way to explain it. I mean English speaking pop singers sometimes have little unique bends and things they do to their vocals too.

I was also disappointed that Solar didn't really shave her head. Also, as an American who loves baseball I'm very excited about the possibility of watching the Korean leagues. Personally I find our pro baseball very boring and generally prefer watching the AA or AAA league games. I thought the first couple songs you played from The Black Skirts sounded odd. Maybe I don't have room to make this comment because I don't speak or understand much Korean but something about the pronunciation didn't sound right. The foreign sound of the Korean lyrics definitely gets less as the discography progresses. Thanks for another great episode Danny! Perfect listening right before bed!
