In my opinion everyone should be allowed to wear whatever they want as long as they are not offending people by doing so. I also don't see the point why it is rude to wear traditional clothes from other countries. I would love to see people from other places wear our traditional clothes.

Aw, May I ask why? My korean friend actually wanted me to wear a hanbok when I was in Korea even though I was a little uncomfy about it lol but I did it to respect her because she’s older and was trying to make me feel welcomed.

I honestly would not like it if non-Koreans wore hanboks. I have my own, and they mean so much to me.

Fascinating! I want one of her hanboks now! I wonder though if there is contention about Westerners wearing hanboks like there is with kimonos - seems to be the Japanese who don't live in Japan get very upset when Westerners wear them and wondered if this was the same for Koreans and hanboks?
