Where do you play?
🕑 Added 2024-10-02 14:57:09 +0000 UTCI'm trying to do my best to make the game available for Android, but with every advance I make another obstacle appears ... I've been busy with this for more than 4 days now, reading practically everything I can find on the subject, but it seems that there's always something missing.
My fear is that I'm taking up precious time that could already be spent developing the new release, stuck on this Android issue.
So, in order to get a better idea of the priority of this activity, I'd like to hear from you.

Sounds interesting. But from what I've researched, there's nothing exactly I can do to “make the game compatible” with this app. It runs the same version as the PC game. What I understand is that you need to download a plugin for this application that allows it to run games developed in ren py, which is the case here. If anyone uses this app to play ren py games and can confirm that it works, it would be a great help to everyone.

There is an application called JoinPlay and as an emulator, it runs PC games on Android. I already tried to run your game on it but it didn't work because it wasn't compatible, if you could make it compatible it would save time, compared to Android because it would be able to run on it. I currently play Camp buddy Scoutmaster on this app and it runs smoothly.

The 2 GB limit is actually a matter of the Android operating system. It applies to any program, not just this game. There is a way around this by separating the game into two parts... First install a smaller file (the installer) and then download the larger game from there. Which is what I'm trying to do now

I have a suggestion but I don't know if it will work, is there a possibility that itchi.io prohibits the upload of more than 2GB for Android? If so, other platforms like GoogleDrive Share or f95 or other platforms might not have such issue?
