Release 8.0 | development update
🕑 Added 2025-02-14 15:13:49 +0000 UTCI promised I'd have good news for this week, but I'm going to need an extra week! 😕
In addition, of course, to the question of making previous stories (Josh and Cody) compatible, the decision to create a “ sort of fixed ” timeline for each destination has given me a lot of ideas. And new scenes to add right now! Which unfortunately take up some extra time
I have the roadmap for the College destination planned and mapped out.
In addition to Josh and Matthew, we'll also have Kyle, of course, and one more character to be introduced... an exchange student (but no spoilers yet).
By the way, Kyle will appear in a short scene in this release, just to give you a taste 😈
After I've presented all these stories... we'll have an “ending” to this destination that will practically be a separate destination.
I say this because in this final feature to be introduced, the player will basically have a huge combination of scenes to play... depending on the results of the characters' stories and how they interact in this new scenario.
I'm not going to give details now because that's for later in the year... but just imagine that they're in a college and in a fraternity house... what event would they plan? 😎
I also took advantage of the fact that I was working on Josh's story and changed the whole dynamic of the painting gallery.
Before, I had created this dynamic in which the player had to go through 4 scenes (chosen at random) of the guys in the painting club to finally see the completed painting.
But I was thinking about it: it takes too much effort for the player to get a small reward.
Now the gallery in the painting club is more straightforward: You've managed to convince the character to be painted nude... his painting will already be available for viewing.
On the other hand, to increase the reward, I've decided that each painting will have a special “effect” to make the image more interesting. One will be in black and white, another with a specific color, another highlighting the shapes more... as if it really were an art gallery.
I know I'm a bit late delivering this module... but it'll be a good reason.
This college destination is going to be soooo interesting and very worthwhile.

I didn't quite understand your question. But to update a game, all you have to do is download the new version, replacing and deleting the previous one. The games are saved in a different folder and are compatible between versions. But remember that version 8.0 is not yet available for download. It will be soon

Thank you so much for the hard work and thought that you put in- I love that you included a teaser for Kyle because people like me have been flooding your comments about him 🙈 Please take all the time you need- really excited for the update and what’s to follow. The one thing I am really hoping for is that Matthew’s relationship route is more of the fall-in-love kind and not the love-for-money situation we have with Isaiah. It just feels more romantic to have the person be in love than for it to be transactional!

Very exciting, can't wait to see what you have in store for us with future updates! ~~ Another potential direction you could consider is each location having an overarching theme, since the College is focused on the frat house & painting club, for example, the Downtown could have a theme of "hypnosis training" since it'd be a shame if the Hunter didn't use his newfound hypnosis skills further - perhaps going back to his "side job" as a fake psychologist and luring in new men like Hector or the skate dude from Dale's intro scenes. 😂

When he has so many options... and all of them so good... it's hard to want to stick with just one. As for family members... at first I didn't think about it... about giving Hunter a background on his family. I always treated him as someone who moved to the city on his own. But I don't know... the future is wide open and depends a lot on the interaction I have with the players.

I'll take a look at what you've indicated... in fact, in this matter of animation, due to the variety of scenes and situations, I'm having to customize most of them... since there's often no animation that meets the needs of the story and the location... I end up putting together two, sometimes three animations at the same time. I'm about to write a post about this

I can't wait to play it! Also, I don't know if you saw my comment on your other post, but I highly recommend downloading Khlas animations for Wicked Whims and Khlas KMI mod, as well as simdulgence's overlays to get some really nice looking bodies and private parts.
