Sorry for being a little silent on here and slow with art. Let me update you on where my time has been directed towards:
Zine work for the Stella Aurea zine (2 full illustrations that will come out beautifully but I am honestly a little scared of tackling because of â¨perfectionismâ¨)

Uni has fully started now I need to read a lot
In case you didnât know: yes I am 28 yo and YES I started studying again: Art History and Anthropology. I am super happy and proud to study and learn again and honestly a lot of this (potential) degree is going towards being able to tell stories like Endarkenment properly.
I always felt like my knowledge wasnât enough to tell the kinds of stories that I want to without perpetuating half-truths and only centering a Eurocentric audience.
Endarkenment is supposed to be about the theory that modern Fascisms roots lie within the enlightenment movement and I want to offer a glimpse to what Germany (or what is Germany adjacent around 1770) might look like without Christian missionary work, imperialism and colonialism. For this I need to take a huge, huge step back, unlearn a ton of biases and take a lot of time to look at whatever I can find.
Honestly I donât really think itâs going to be possible to the extent that I envision it, and I wonât be able to provide an answer. But itâs nonetheless a very complex, delicate topic which is why I want to treat it as best as I can!
