This album has a lot of depth not only in the lyrics but also musically that I feel like you just didn't get, and that's perfectly fine. I recommend checking it out later on again but if you don't fw it rn that's fine, its not for everyone.

Also I'm not really understanding how people are surprised he didn't like this album. He knew nothing of the concept of the album or what context to take the lyrics in (which, for the enjoyment of this particular album, is needed more than usual), and none of the songs are remotely conventional "bangers" that he would be able to catch a vibe from. The album grew on me for sure, but I knew from the start that this would not be in his lane and he probably wouldn't have much reaction or know what to make of it all, and I can't blame him or dislike him for that Looking forward to the future reactions fr, it looks like we'll have new JPEGMAFIA soon as well as Freddie Gibbs, Denzel, and Joey Badass, which is a stacked lineup

Not comparing the two albums at all, but I think Loket would get a kick out of listening to The Money Store by Death Grips. I feel some songs he'd be sweating like it's a Ken Carson album, and some songs he'd just be confused LOL
